On arrival you will be welcomed by our host, asked to sign in, given tea and a chance to land at our wonderful, peaceful location by the lake.
Part 1 - Ecstatic four-handed massage
Here, you will be collected by your massage therapist team. Two therapists (four-handed massage) who have been carefully selected for their intuitive healing skills and wisdom.
Intention You’ll be invited to work with an intention. Perhaps you want to welcome something in? Or maybe it’s about letting go? Whatever you discover, you can trust it’s the right thing. Take a moment to share and connect with your massage team, then it’s time to begin the experience.
Meditation The first part of the experience will take place in a shared space with other participants, and their intuitive massage teams. We all share the journey together. Beginning with a short meditation to ground, breathe and connect, everyone will then be guided through an ecstatic wave-like experience via specially-curated music and guidance from our ecstatic dance facilitator, Bart van Meeteren.
Massage Think of it as an ecstatic dance but through the medium of massage. Allow your body to surrender, dance and to let go. Hold your intention in your heart and be open to whatever comes.
With four hands massaging you, and each part of the ecstatic wave rich in different qualities, this will be an experience you’re unlikely to forget! The massage will flow back to stillness and grounding. Then your therapeutic team will bring you back into the space, and connect with you once the wave is complete.
Part 2 - Guided healing for integration and grounding
Now it’s time to enter the healing room where shamanic healer, Villia De Koningh, will offer tea, raw chocolate, and lead everyone through a guided healing process to enable everything to integrate and settle. There’ll also be an opportunity to share your experiences of the massage if you wish.
The intention for this healing is to allow you to feel empowered, and gain insight and learning that you can take back with you out into the ‘real world’. We finish the whole experience by giving you a self-care gift bag with all sorts of helpful things to support you on your healing journey.
About the team
Sophie ♥ Sophie Fagan is the founder of Embodied Empowerment. When it comes to facilitating body-mind practices, Sophie has a wealth of experience. With a foundation in holistic massage and Tai Chi she feels passionate about providing different ways for people to feel empowered in their bodies.
Sophie has been a massage therapist and teacher for 10 years - Sophie Fagan - Holistic Massage Amsterdam NL . She also founded the Tai Chi school Amsterdam Chen Tai Chi & Chi Gong, which offers classes, workshops and retreats all year round.
Sophie loves nothing more than enabling people to try new ways to feel good in their bodies and minds ♥.
Bart ♥ Bart van Meeteren comes from a martial art background with 15 years of judo and 15 years of Tai Chi Chuan experience. He is deeply influenced by zen and tantra. Since 2013 he is a dedicated member of the team at Ecstatic Dance Utrecht in which he finds a wonderfully free and expressive complement to the slow and controlled movements in Tai Chi. After making the inner journey of Ecstatic so many times he now loves to guide others into deeper intimacy with the self and the body. His approach is gentle and kind. Open exploration, awareness and authenticity are his signature.
Bart is a Tai Chi teacher at SlowMotions T'ai Chi in Utrecht and Ecstatic Dance facilitator at Ecstatic Dance Utrecht.
Villia ♥ Villia de Koning, has been guiding people from all walks of life for more than 2 decades as a Shamanic Soul Coach & Holistic practitioner. Following your Ecstatic Massage, take a sacred grounding journey with her in a safe, sacred space, enriching and fully integrating the healing power received through your massage experience allowing you to refocus and achieve optimum healing.
Shamanic Holistic Soul Coaching, works with the whole person, working with all parts of self, physical self, emotional self through to spiritual self to harmonize the flow of energy between all parts of self, using ancient techniques to bring empowerment and wholeness.

About the location Scouting Sarto is a wonderful venue situated right on the water on Sloterplas not far from the sailing school. As it is tucked away amongst the trees it is good to allow extra time for you to find us. Please call Sophie - 0627356429 if you need assistance.
